This is the worst brunch I've had in Lagos. Food was extremely bland and dry. I ordered the Full English breakfast and from the picture, you can see it's not that. They had baked beans on the menu and didn’t serve it. They weren't bothered to even be upfront. When I asked, they said they were "cooking" it. Considering they served hot dogs in place of the advertised sausages, I doubt they make their baked beans from scratch. I also ordered fried chicken to come with my breakfast. It didn't come until I finished eating. Then they had the audacity to ask me to pay for the pack to take it out. For a small space, TV was blasting at top volume while the blender was constantly going so ambience was a negative. I paid 25k for the English breakfast which basically was 3 slices of extremly dry bread, 2 eggs, 2 hotdogs and like 4 halves of canned mushrooms. The fried chicken wings was 14k. Neither was even close to worth it. To cap this, the accompanying drink (basic coffee) came almost after the meal.
Nice food, great meals actually. Ambience is bove average, and service was beautiful, near excellent.
I ordered the chicken and waffles and i was given chicken that was days old and inedible though i was made to wait because i was told it would be made fresh. Although our server was nice, it took ages for them to do something about the food yet they wanted full payment.
The English and American breakfast cost 16,000 probably because of the Detty December greed. The coffee was good which was the reason I went there in the first place. Food was cold when we got it. Note that the price on the menu is not what you will be paying for breakfast. Atmosphere was great, the place looks really nice. Other than the cold food which in my opinion was not worth the price. Its a cool place.
This a very nice restaurant located within the premises of House J hotel. Its actually more a café due to its size and menu options. The restaurant is small, not for large crowds because their tables sit 2-4 people and its not spacious enough to combine tables for large groups. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting. The menu is stocked with delicious choices making it hard to chose just one especially considering how affordable the prices are. We had their American breakfast which came out just on time and tasted great. The coffee could've been better but that may be because I ordered a caramel latte which seems to be a difficult recipe locally, next time I'll try their mocha. Overall my experience here was good and I'll certainly be coming back and recommending to others who would like a classy café to add to their list of restaurant options especially for breakfast and brunch.
