By creating an account, listing a business, writing a review, or otherwise using ConnectCiti, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraudulent activity, valid legal requests, or at user request.

Business owners who list their business agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information and only list businesses they own or are authorized to represent.

4.2 Claiming a Business

To claim a listing you must be the owner or authorized representative, complete verification, and provide proof of ownership if requested.

You retain ownership of content you post. By submitting content, you grant ConnectCiti a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Service.

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, is reported as inappropriate, contains false or illegal information, or infringes intellectual property rights.

The Service and its content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by ConnectCiti and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. This includes the website design, branding, software, and compiled database of listings.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed, contact [email protected] with a description of the copyrighted work, location of the infringing content, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, advertisements, or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or products of third parties. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and that party.

We do not verify the accuracy of business listings, reviews, or other user-generated content. You rely on such information at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, ConnectCiti shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits or data, or damages arising from user-generated content or third-party actions.

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of NGN 100,000 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConnectCiti and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another party, or content you submit.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms, updating the “Last updated” date, and notifying you via email or site notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
