An excellent place to visit in Abeokuta. It demonstrates the rich culture of the Egbas including very important personalities in education, government, law, medical field and theatre arts. Portraits of the past ruling Obas are displayed with their ancient palaces.

It's a beautiful place!! Exudes History, Arts and Cultural Aura. I and a Team of Artists are about to make it more awesome with stunning Visual Arts; would have to update this review again.

Visiting the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, was such an interesting experience. We first joined him in service, before heading to the palace itself. Watching a king worship so wholeheartedly was both humbling and inspiring.

It's was an amazing trip from the entrance of the palace to the museum where me and my other friends explore and the history of Abeokuta was shared to us. We saw lots of artifacts before we were escorted by guide for a tour of the Palace
