The Body Therapy Clinic

The Body Therapy Clinic is an initiative of the Chartered Institute of Counseling in Nigeria. A sacred, professionally held space designed to help individuals reconnect with their bodies as a place of safety, pleasure, expression, and truth. Here, the body is no longer something to endure, suppress, or distrust, but something to listen to, honour, and come home to.

Many people carry unprocessed trauma, grief, shame, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion not because they lack insight, but because their bodies never had permission to release what words could not hold. At this clinic, we work below language, gently restoring regulation, aliveness, and embodied confidence. Through carefully curated dance therapy, clients rediscover freedom, rhythm, and emotional release, allowing stored tension and muted desires to move again.
