Can be rowdy, but it's a nice place to grab some grub.... Though getting there can be tricky for someone who hasn't been there before
Good place to buy plain and cotton fabrics. Calico too if you're a tailor. Mainland alternative to Balogun. Like every other Nigerian market, it's difficult to locate specific places here, even with the numbering. The overhead bridge makes it very difficult to use public transport to and fro here. Overall, a much better organised market than most Nigerian markets.

This is one of the major markets in Lagos for fabric lovers/tailors/designers/creatures in the clothing field and more! There is almost no material you can't get here. I came here for a velvet material. What's important is that you are able to tell the difference between an original and a China. Cos most China looks like the original. This place is still undergoing upgrade and construction.
