The Professor Wole Soyinka Train Station is one of the train stations on the route from Lagos to Ibadan, and vice versa. It is the main train station that serves Abeokuta town, and it's situated at Laderin, Abeokuta. The station is beautiful and neat. Unfortunately, the road connecting is bad, and hence commuting between it and the town is not that pleasant. Hope this malady would be addressed soon

The service at train station is also organised and swift. Kudos to the government. The station can run a bus service to transport visitors to the city, that's just my suggestion.

Clean and spacious with courteous staff. Nicely air-conditioned ✅. Big parking space and cabs easily available for hire to take you inside Abeokuta ✅

The Professor Wole Soyinka Train Station is a spacious and well-organized facility. I observed that there was ample space for passengers to move around comfortably. The station also features clean and accessible restaurants, making it a convenient spot for travelers to grab a meal. The layout is well-structured, ensuring easy navigation for commuters.

The train station located in Abeokuta is not only a masterpiece but also a tourist attraction for many locals . There is a VIP lounge for fist class travelers, security there is fair enough, there is no ATM machine but local vendors can help with cash withdrawals. They still enforce mask usage for some personal gains but if you insist on not using one you can get in. Train leaves there for Lagos or Ibadan at specified times of the day, normally twice a day or 3 during big holidays.
