Clean environment. Excellent personnel presence. Proper workplace etiquette. You'll have to exercise some patience though.

It's a really efficient place to get your passport done.. all the officers are friendly , organized and they look really spiffy. Clean environment, safe space and efficient work.. plus you can get your passport photograph, printouts and photocopy done just outside the office

Some days ago, I went to the Immigration Office at Ibadan for an appointment. Although my appointment time was scheduled for 12pm, I got there before 9am so I'll be attended to on time. On getting there, I met so many people on sit while many were standing up since there was no seat available for them. I joined those standing as we await an officer to address us. Not too long, an officer came around and we were addressed. Another officer came with a file and started calling out names for Documents Verification. After a while, my name was called. I was so happy thinking I'll soon be done (not knowing what was fully ahead of me). The verification was done in few minutes and we were directed back to where we were as we await our names to be called for Capturing. Unfortunately, I waited till 8pm in the evening and my name wasn't called for Capturing. I made a terrible mistake of not taking my charger along and my battery was so down. Around past 8 in the evening, we were advised to come the next day as early as 8 -- 9 am. While being furious, I was like what can I do? After all, this is Nigeria! The following morning came, I got there very early to see them having a Parade. The parade was quiet interesting but the Band was really terrible. I expected more since I was once a member of NYSC Band (but then, that's not my business). After the parade, we were addressed by an officer who said "they were currently experiencing a problem with the server -- which happens to be a Nationwide problem. So those scheduled for that day went ahead with their Verification. I sat down to plug my charger to a socket while I keep surfing the net to keep me busy and sane. Thankfully, the server came up around 3:45pm (you saw that right. 3:45pm in the afternoon 😅) when I was about losing hope. Not quite long, an officer came with a file and started calling names of those who weren't able to do their capturing yesterday (which I'm also part). After a while, my name was called and I went inside for capturing. I ended up leaving around past 5 in the evening. The experience was so so tiring, I must confess😨😧🙁 Nonetheless, they've got pretty nice and clean environment, friendly officers who will intermittently come over to address you. There are stalls within the compound where you can get snacks, foods, soft drinks and other things. They've got a toilet too, however, you would have to pay to a woman (not an officer though) who's in charge of the toilet to access it. My humble advice: You might really wanna go as early as possible to get yourself a seat. Please kindly go with your charger since there's constant and stable electricity there, and of course money... since we never can tell how fast you'll be attended to...

it is orderly, seats are provided as you wait because there is always a large amount of people coming for my appointment or the other. the down side is network failure do not come back up as fast as expected.
