Good Customer service
I’d like to narrate my most unpleasant, hideous experience shopping at Obiweezy (Lekki branch) I checked their website for S23 on 22nd Aug and saw it for 590k. I tried adding it to the cart and got a 404 error. I called to complain and was told prices online aren’t the actual prices. The “actual” price was 640k. This I find to be absurd because what’s the point of quoting prices online that aren’t correct? What’s the point of doing that in this 2023 we live in? I called the Lekki branch on the 23rd and was told they don’t have it in stock. Temi, the attendant who answered , sounded irritated and rude over the phone. Anyway she said it will be in their shop the next day by 12pm latest. I got there the next day (24th) around 2-2:30pm and was told the S23 didn’t come. Other phones came in but not mine. I was irked by this and told the same Temi why she couldn’t be proactive and call me the customer to inform me the phone didn’t come. As usual, no professionalism when she responded. Her manager had to apologise and collected my number. He called me later that evening and told me the phone was available. I went in on Friday to get it and finally got it. I paid and asked for invoice but they couldn’t provide it. This was odd and I when I asked, I was told it will be sent online before COB. I dropped my mobile & email and didn’t get anything. Waited till Monday the 28th and called saying nothing dropped in my inbox. The manager said it has been sent and I still didn’t get anything. He asked if it can be sent via WhatsApp and I said email is my preferred option. Long and short I had to agree to the WhatsApp option which finally enabled me get my invoice. This horrid experience left me irked and drained as one had to literally hassle to purchase a new mobile in this day and age from a merchant I have absolutely no trust in anymore.
No issues at all. Walked in' bought a phone, accessories and left. Customer service, no issues. They have an active page on Instagram where they post phones (mostly iphones, used and new and some high end Samsungs). They also trade phones. They have an outlet in Lekki and Ikeja and it was quite easy to transact. I can confirm that they are genuine and their pricing was a bit cheaper than others I sampled.
Their prices are unbelievably low and quality of products is an absolute 💯. I would recommend without batting an eyelid. You want the latest gadgets at the best prices? Visit Obiwezy
Loved the customer service but I believe they should stock up more and also, stock up on Samsung products. Those of us living in Phase 1 don't want have to go through the stress of going to Saka for phone accessories and such.
