The online news platform is committed to truth, fairness and justice in its news presentation and editorial policy. As a national publication, NATIONAL ACCORD is deeply interested in forging national unity and promoting the core values and national interest of the country. And the founders and promoters believe that the best way to protect this national accord is to protect the interest of the Nigerian people by lending the paper’s pages and website to the fight against corruption, poverty, illiteracy and injustice, especially in a society that consciously endorses the policy of minority and majority groups. A general interest news platform, NATIONAL ACCORD covers various Social, Economic and Political issues locally and internationally, with a strong focus on Business and Politics. First published in March 2011 (then in hard copy), NATIONAL ACCORD newspaper appeared on the Newsstands as a weekly publication for eight (8) months and went daily on November 1, 2011, circulating throughout Nigeria. In 2015, however, the print edition of the paper was suspended when the Management took the strategic decision to explore the online platform, given its potential for a much wider reach. Since then, NATIONAL ACCORD has remained a strong online News platform and its website, www.nationalaccordnewspaper.com has been attracting thousands of visitors from different parts of the world.
