Customer service is poor and staff are extremely rude. They all look like they don’t want to sell anything to you. They’re rude on the phone and rude on-site. If you have a short temper, I don’t recommend.

Interesting collection of records and books. However, I don't believe they have any idea of the condition or value of the records they have. They quoted me the same price for most records, regardless or their condition or if they had any value or not. Given this the prices I was quoted were largely absurd. I argued the price was too high on one record considering how obviously worn the sleeve and record itself was and they assured me It played well and was perfectly fine. I ended up buying It for the price they asked and upon playing It the record skips in a lot of places.

If you want to visit one place on Lagos Islands it might be this one. You can spend hours browsing through CDs and books. And when you get tired, order a coffee and, of course, the carrot cake. Once you've been here, you always come back. If you're lucky, you might even catch a concert.

The Jazz Hole is truly a hidden gem in Lagos — a perfect blend of books, music, art, and culture. I spent hours exploring their eclectic collection of literature and vinyl records in a calm, vintage-inspired setting. What makes it even better is their small canteen tucked inside — serving light refreshments that perfectly complement the vibe of the place. The staff was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a creative escape in the city.

Small intimate spot with a wide range of books and records. They have a mini tea shop too. Keep an eye out for the location as it can easily be missed.
