Great apartment in a perfect location! Clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. The host was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely book again.
My stay in Firenze apartment was nothing short of pleasant. The rooms and internal decorations were clean and impeccable. The electricity was steady 247, with WIFI that was both fast (35mb/sec) and constant throughout my stay. The location of the apartment is central and is close to good restaurants and a Spar supermarket, making it easy for quick grocery shopping. The customer service, response time and attention of the facility manager, as well as the customer service desk/administrators is also commendable. Overall, my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay alongside my kids. The spacious & beautifully furnished en-suite rooms (three bedrooms) and access to cable TV without any fluctuations in electricity supply, made the kids feel especially comfortable. Not to mention the fully equipped kitchen with kitchenware that makes cooking and feeding for a big family conducive. I recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to have a home away from home experience. The place was really nice, that’s for sure 🙂👌
The customer service is horrible, almost non-existent, the facility requires a lot of maintenance, the pictures don’t depict the actual state of the apartment, most of the guest services employees are nonchalant and lack customer relations skills. Service feels like a favour to them. The hospitality is deplorable to put it mildly. Amenities such as WiFi has been inaccessible for the most part of our stay. Most of their house fittings need replacement and refurbishment, there was a near miss accident with a rusty wall clock in the living room which fell out of nowhere and almost landed on my child. The heavy presence of mosquitoes and cockroaches within the vicinity attests to the shoddy and very poor maintenance of facility. Since check in, where the manager claimed she had no idea of the booking, and spoke very shabbily on the phone, my expectations were already set to zero, and true to act, they’ve managed to fall lower than zero in services. Firenze and the management company - Heristay’s hospitality is generally lacking with such crude and poor customer service. And I will honestly say there was no value for money. Updating this review as promised - the management reached out after this review was left and tried to make amends and show concern but unfortunately the damage had already been done, prior to this, I reached out and tried to lay these complaints directly to management about the poor service we were receiving but one of the guest services reps - Basirat prevented this, and asked me to write an email to be heard, she basically tried to trivialise and dismiss the issues and this is how I deduced & concluded the horrible customer service is top-down and decided to leave a public review to forewarn others. In addition to the epileptic wifi, there were other issues: running water was cut off at different points due to maintenance, at some point for over a day, this was unbelievable and frustrating, and one of their supervisory staff blatantly disregarded our “no outside shoes in the apartment request” and basically displayed the same negative customer relations attitude. I must say that I appreciate the management for taking responsibility and making efforts to resolve the issues but like I said the damage had been done and it will be deceitful to state otherwise. We stayed at Firenze for over a month and the issues we experienced were enough to mar our entire travel experience, and unfortunately these issues cannot be buried like they never happened. All the best to the management and I hope they strive to do better.
