They’re professional and cheap. Good and courteous staff. The equipment are manageable though they’re not new. Most importantly… HOLD CASH. Ain’t no cashless policy for them at the clinic.
Best dental hospital in lagos, you’ll be attended to in an hour of getting there. They do not accept NHS card You have to go with cash. Doctors and nurses are friendly. My only issue is there’s only 1 toilet.
I read reviews before heading there so its only right I leave one too. I got there around past nine in the morning and was the first patient, to my surprise. The registration was seamless and cost NGN 300, I was then taken in to be seen by a dentist. Both the dentist and the nurse were pleasant enough and I was assessed and ask to make payment. NGN 4000 for scaling and polishing and NGN 8000 for extraction of a molar. It is cheaper for teeth in other locations, I think it ranges from NGN 5000 to NGN 12,000 for more complicated procedures. Anyway, I paid (in cash only) and was asked to wait. I waited approximately 20 mins and was invited in for the scaling and polishing which was painless and then the extraction. I have a low tolerance for pain so I would say it was painful when the aneasthetic was administered but the extraction itself was painless and quick. I was given my extracted tooth to take home! I was asked to wait another 30 mins, given a prescription and then the nurse came to give some instructions and I was free to go. The drugs came to NGN 2000. A good experience and very very affordable compared to private clinics. I was skeptical but I will be glad to refer anyone I know there. It could do with a facelift as others have suggested but its a working system.
The place to go if you want very affordable dental care. Opening a clinic card costs 300 naira only. Scaling and polishing costs as low as 5000 naira too. You can only pay cash so I recommend getting some money from the bank before visiting the clinic. There’s a parking space at the side of the building.
Today was my first visit to FDC, reccommend by my sister but had one of the horrible unforgettable experience from the manager by name Dr Sanni. I arrived by 12 noon and purchased d registration card at the reception. After a while, I was pre attended by one of the doctors on duty who clanked my tooth and told me the cost of my tooth filling which I paid to the accounts now waiting seated for me to be called upon to begin the tooth filling. I waited longer than expected and some of the doctors kept apologizing for keeping us so long and assured that we would be shortly be attended to..... and at last around 2pm +., Dr Sanni walked up to where I and my sister were sitting, asking what we are here for which we told her and suddenly she said that my tooth filling wasn't the price I was told before and already paid for which was #5000, that is now #10,000. I and my sister were surprised, we asked why the extra charges and sudden change in the price, she said that's the price. We questioned about the price on the price list..... She gave us nothing but a RUDE ATTITUDE and answer. After waiting for more than 2 hours, we were treated like a bad itch. We later knocked and entered into her office to be more clarified, she said we have no right to come into her office without her permission. We are patients for Christ sake and are meant to be treated better. If she said she is the Manager, she should be able to render patient satisfaction and not imposing her power on her staffs and as well as her patients . Time wasted wasn't even considered rather she called one of her staff to take us out of her office and to be refunded . I was more than disappointed with her as a Mother ...Staff and a Manager . She is a very very POOR & BAD MANAGER.
