Clear Essence Destination Spa

Everything about this place is beautiful. The environment is a firm 11/10, it is so natural. The staff are one bunch of healthy people who would make your stay feel so heavenly, the rooms too are super spacious. This is the perfect hideout, perfect hideout!

Hotel is ok. Nice and quiet. Looks decent. Nothing too fancy. Not like the bigger hotels where you run into the entire world. Service is good with the staff being very nice and friendly. Don't expect any ok views. Our view was the wall. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired though. The shower was absolutely terrible. These plastic multi shower head showers never work well in Nigeria. Pressure isn't good enough and limescale blocks up many holes so water stops coming out from some or goes in totally wrong direction. Internet is beyond woeful. Barely works in the room. Wife said the massage is the best she has ever had in Nigeria. If I was reviewing just the massage service then it would be definite five stars based on her feedback. But have to dock few stars for the shower, bad internet and lack of swimming pool. If you want a great massage then you absolutely have to go here. But note that you can just book a massage there and don't need to stay over at the hotel to get the benefit of the great massage.

Always a pleasant experience at Clear Essence. I just wonder why there wasn’t been any revamp of rooms and the general esthetics of the place to make it even more appealing, welcoming and relaxing.
