Clay Cafe

The food is exceptionally delicious every time. I must have been to clay cafe more than 10 times since they opened, it’s one of the places I go for comfort food.

We came here to eat. The services was not very nice, we greeted them they didn’t greet back. We wanted to order, a lot of it wasn‘t available. Once we ordered we waited almost an hour for the food! We had to leave because we were running out of time and they even billed the take away bag! We paid by bank transfer I showed the recipe they still wanted my phone number (?) she said in case it wasn’t there. How can that be when you just saw the recipe? Wouldn’t recommend. It‘s more show off than an enjoyable environment.

It’s my first time visiting Nigeria, and I wanted to try an English breakfast on Friday, April 18th, around 10 am. We went to this restaurant, and when we arrived, the security was attentive and the doors were immediately opened. The place was clean and the decor was beautiful. We walked in and noticed that there were no customers except for three employees: two females and one male. They didn’t greet us or acknowledge our presence. One of the employees was wearing white cord earphones and had her shoes off. She took a few minutes to come over to our table and had to put on her shoes before using the same dirty hands to bring the menus. She seemed unfriendly and as if we were a bother.in-fact throughout there were just there laughing talking to each other and didn’t care about serving us!!! When the food arrived, we continued to have to ask for things. No one came over to check if we were okay. The customer service was VERY poor.

The food was worth the wait. The atmosphere and music, just the entire ambiance of the cafe, was wonderful. Would recommend 10/10.
