A Brief History

Astral Waters Limited (AWL), the parent company of Astra Water, was incorporated on July 26, 1999. The company's journey began with a vision to provide a refreshing and healthy beverage option to the Nigerian market. In August 1999, Astra Water made history by becoming the first company to be granted a NAFDAC approval for the bottling of large-sized water bottles (18.9 litres) with hot and cold dispensers. This innovation marked the beginning of a new era in the Nigerian bottled water industry.
