NIRSAL National Microfinance Bank is a CBN-licensed national microfinance bank established in 2019 to drive financial inclusion across Nigeria. A joint initiative of the Bankers’ Committee, NIRSAL PLC, and the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), NMFB offers accessible credit and savings services to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), salary earners, petty traders, and rural communities. With products ranging from small business & SME loans to salary advances and tailored facilities for agriculture value chains, NMFB combines minimal documentation, competitive interest rates, and branch + agent + mobile banking channels to provide finance to those usually excluded from traditional banking. Located in Abuja, it aims to leverage NIPOST outlets and technology to reach all 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria.
